When Cart2Cart asks for Miva flat files, export products, categories, customers, orders, and attributes from Miva Merchant Data Management, then upload them in the Migration Wizard.

Miva 9 / 10 (current)

1. Log in to Miva admin → Settings → Data Management (Import/Export).

2. Under Export Data, run each export the wizard requests, for example:

• Export Products to Flat File — choose CSV or legacy tab-delimited format as required; export field names as header; Replace File if prompted; download from email or the store Export data folder via FTP.

• Export Categories to Flat File — include Code, Name, Active, Parent Category Code (or fields the wizard lists).

• Export Customers to Flat File — include login/email and shipping/billing fields requested by Cart2Cart.

• Export Orders to Flat File — choose All Orders when available; field names as header.

• Export Attributes to XML File when attributes/options are required.

3. Upload the resulting files in the Migration Wizard and continue.

Miva 5.x–9.x menu paths (legacy)

Miva 5.x: Utilities → Export Data → Export Products/Orders/Customers/Categories/Attributes…

Miva 9.x older UI: Menu → Data Management → same export actions. File names such as products.dat / tab delimiter / Legacy Import formats appear in older Cart2Cart checklists—use the delimiter and “Replace File” options the wizard still lists.

Miva 4.x (legacy)

Utilities → Export Data for products, orders, and customers to flat files (often products.dat / orders.dat / customers.dat with tab delimiter and header row), then upload to the wizard.
