General Questions

Yes. Cart2Cart migrates categories from Actinic / SellerDeck. In SellerDeck these are often called Sections; they map to categories (and product assignments) on the Target cart.

Actinic / SellerDeck categories (current)

1. Export or prepare Source access as required by the wizard (file export and/or bridge—follow prompts for your Actinic/SellerDeck version). Related: export Actinic data to CSV.

2. In the Migration Wizard, include Categories (and Products) in the entity list.

3. Run a Demo Migration and compare Section hierarchy vs Target categories—nesting depth and naming can differ by platform rules.

4. After Full Migration, review category trees and product assignments; adjust any Sections that mapped awkwardly.
