General Questions

Because WooCommerce runs as a WordPress plugin, upload the Cart2Cart Connection Bridge to the WordPress root (the folder that contains wp-config.php and wp-content), not into wp-content/plugins/woocommerce.

Current wizard / bridge upload

1. In the Migration Wizard, download the Connection Bridge when prompted (or use automatic upload if your host credentials allow it).

2. Connect via SFTP/FTP or your host file manager and open the WordPress root directory.

3. Upload the bridge package so the extracted folder (usually bridge2cart) sits next to wp-config.php.

4. Verify in a browser: https://your-store.com/bridge2cart/bridge.php (adjust if your WordPress lives in a subdirectory).

5. Return to the wizard and continue the store connection check.

Older wording (legacy)

Earlier copy described dragging “the Connection Bridge file” into the root and checking http://[yourstoreurl]/bridge2cart/bridge.php. Prefer HTTPS and confirm the path matches your actual WordPress document root.
