To migrate from EKM (formerly ekmPowershop) with Cart2Cart, export products and categories to spreadsheet files, then upload them in the Migration Wizard (CSV File source). Install the free Import/Export System feature first if it is not already available.

EKM Import/Export System (current)

1. Log in to your EKM admin Dashboard.

2. Open Features in the left-hand menu and install Import/Export System from the Feature Library if needed (you can search for “Import”).

3. Open the Import/Export System feature and click Export Data.

4. Choose Export Products, select all products (or the set you need), leave the field checkboxes selected, and continue to choose the download type.

5. Select CSV for smaller catalogs (EKM recommends CSV under about 500 products) or XLSX for larger catalogs, then download the file when the link appears.

6. Repeat with Export Categories (and export customers/orders the same way if your Cart2Cart CSV migration requires those files).

7. Save the files locally and upload them in the Cart2Cart Migration Wizard.

ekmPowershop admin wording (legacy)

Older admin copy used “ekmPowershop” and slightly different button labels. If your panel still matches these screenshots, the flow is the same feature:

1. Log in to your ekmPowershop admin panel.

2. Go to the Features section, and type “Import” in the search bar.

3. Install the Import/Export System feature.

4. Choose Export to File in the menu that appears.

5. Select Export Products, then All products, and press Next.

6. Press Next again, then choose CSV File.

7. When the file is ready, press Download.

8. Open Import/Export System again, click Export Categories, and repeat the same procedure.
