Migrating Stores with the Same URLs

After you've provided Source and Target store URLs and performed a Demo migration with Cart2Cart, you cannot immediately start a new migration using the same store URLs. The Migration Wizard will detect this and redirect you to the previous migration steps. This prevents accidental data duplication and ensures a clean migration process.

You'll be able to edit the current migration settings or provide new store URLs to proceed with a different migration. This allows for flexibility and control over your eCommerce data migration process.

If, for any reason, you need to perform another full eCommerce data migration with the *same* store URLs after a Full migration has already been completed, you'll need to request our Remigration service. This service ensures that all data migrated into your target store during the initial migration is cleared before the new migration begins, preventing conflicts and ensuring data integrity.

Alternatively, if you have new items on your source store that you want to migrate after the initial Full migration is complete, you can use our Recent Data Migration option. This allows you to selectively migrate only the new or updated data, saving time and resources. Consider Recent Data Migration if you want to perform a eCommerce data migration
