CoreCommerce-related questions2

Note: CoreCommerce is a niche / aging hosted ecommerce and order-management platform. Public product documentation is limited, but stores that still expose Store API can connect to Cart2Cart with the credentials below. If your admin no longer shows Store API, contact CoreCommerce/host support or Cart2Cart Live Chat for file-based options.

For an automated CoreCommerce migration, the Migration Wizard needs:

  • Username
  • Password
  • XML Key
  • Store Name
  • Connection URL

Create or update an API user in CoreCommerce:

1. Log in to your CoreCommerce backend with an administrator account.

2. Open Settings, then Store API (some panels list this under Integration SettingsStore API).

CoreCommerce Settings - Navigate to Store API for data migration

3. Enter a Username, Password, and XML Key for the API user (use strong unique values).

CoreCommerce Create API User - Enter Username, Password, and XML Key for data migration

4. Copy the existing Store Name and Connection URL shown on that page, then click Save.

5. Paste Store Name, Connection URL, Username, Password, and XML Key into the matching Cart2Cart Wizard fields and validate the connection.

Third-party OMS connectors (for example Extensiv) use the same five parameters, which confirms the Store API model is still in use where CoreCommerce remains online.

More info

Due to CoreCommerce API limits, Cart2Cart can migrate only one main product image and one product image thumbnail per product to CoreCommerce.

Example: if a Source product has 10 images, only the primary image plus one thumbnail are written via API. Extra gallery images must be added on CoreCommerce afterward.

Options for remaining images:

  • Manual upload in the CoreCommerce product admin.
  • CSV / bulk import if your CoreCommerce plan still supports product import with image paths—upload files first, then map image columns.
  • Cart2Cart Support can help provide an archive of product images from the Source after migration so you can finish the import yourself.
