General Questions

Yes. Cart2Cart supports migration from Summer Cart 4.0 (and other Summer Cart versions listed on the supported carts page) to modern platforms such as WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento, PrestaShop, and OpenCart.

Migrating from Summer Cart 4.0 (current)

1. Prepare a target store on your chosen platform and keep Summer Cart online during migration.

2. Open the Migration Wizard, set Source to Summer Cart, enter the store URL, and install the Connection Bridge on the Summer Cart document root when prompted.

3. Connect the Target cart (bridge, module, or API credentials as required).

4. Select entities (products, customers, orders, etc.) and run a Demo Migration, then Full Migration.

5. Customer passwords from Summer Cart are generally not migrated as usable logins—plan a password-reset communication. See Summer Cart passwords FAQ.
