To migrate customer passwords into OpenCart 3.0+, install the Cart2Cart Universal OpenCart Migration Module (includes password-migration support) before Full Migration.
OpenCart 3.x / 4.x (current)
1. Download Cart2Cart: Universal OpenCart Migration Module from the OpenCart marketplace. Use the package that matches your major version (OC3 vs OC4).
2. Admin → Extensions → Installer → Upload the .ocmod.zip (OC4 packages must be structured for the OC4 installer, including install.json when required).
3. On the Installer list, click Install for the uploaded extension if shown.
4. Go to Extensions → Extensions, choose the appropriate extension type (often Modules), find Cart2Cart Universal Migration, and click Install / Enable.
5. If Modifications are listed, open Extensions → Modifications and click Refresh. Clear cache from the dashboard gear if present.
6. In the Migration Wizard, enable Migrate customers’ passwords and continue Demo / Full Migration.

~2018 guides show Extensions → Installer → upload cart2cart_opencart_universal_migration.ocmod.zip → success notice → green Install on the module row. Paths are the same on OC3; OC4 uses the newer extension layout under extension/.
