Migrate into OpenCart with Cart2Cart using the Migration Wizard. Prefer the Universal OpenCart Migration Module (or Connection Bridge) for a secure store connection on OpenCart 3.x / 4.x.
OpenCart 3.x / 4.x via Cart2Cart (current)
1. Install the Cart2Cart Universal OpenCart Migration Module via Extensions → Installer (see the passwords-plugin FAQ for install details), or upload the Connection Bridge to the OpenCart root when the wizard requests it.
2. Open the Migration Wizard. Set Source cart (URL/API as required) and Target = OpenCart with store URL and connection method.
3. Choose entities and additional options (SEO URLs, passwords, preserve IDs, etc.).
4. Map order statuses and customer groups.
5. Run Demo Migration, verify a few products/customers/orders in OpenCart admin, then start Full Migration.
6. After migration, clear OpenCart caches and confirm SEO/rewrite settings if you migrated URLs.

Guides from ~2020 show the same five steps (connect carts → entities → mapping → demo → full) with an older Cart2Cart UI and OpenCart admin/login fields. Entity selection and mapping behavior match the current wizard.
