Cart2Cart can migrate product and category SEO URLs (and create 301 redirects where supported) for OpenCart. Steps differ slightly by major version.

OpenCart 3.x / 4.x (current)

1. On the OpenCart side that needs redirects stored as an extension, install a compatible redirects / SEO redirects extension via Extensions → Installer (upload the vendor .ocmod.zip, then install/enable under Extensions → Extensions). For OpenCart 4, use an OC4-compatible package (must include install.json when required by the installer).

2. Confirm SEO URLs are enabled in OpenCart (System → Settings → Server → Use SEO URLs, and that your server rewrite rules are in place).

3. In the Migration Wizard, select the additional option Migrate 301 SEO URLs of categories and products (wording may be “Migrate categories and products SEO URLs”).

4. Run Demo, then Full Migration. After go-live, spot-check old URLs and submit an updated sitemap.

Note: Some OpenCart↔OpenCart upgrades can migrate SEO URLs via Cart2Cart options without a third-party redirects plugin—follow the wizard prompts for your cart pair.

OpenCart 2.x (legacy)

Cart2Cart supported 301 SEO URL migration from/to OpenCart 2.x as an additional option after installing the free Redirections plugin, then choosing “Migrate 301 SEO URLs of categories and products” in the wizard and launching Full Migration.
