Cart2Cart can migrate customer passwords for Magento when the matching password migration plugin/module is installed on the store.

Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce (current)

Use the Magento 2 guide: How to install Cart2Cart Magento 2 Passwords Migration Plugin.

Magento 1.x (legacy)

For Magento 1 / OpenMage only, install the Magento 1 passwords migration package from your Cart2Cart account / migration setup instructions, then enable it in Magento 1 admin under the Cart2Cart / local modules list. Prefer upgrading to Magento 2 when possible; Magento 1 is end-of-life.
