  • The majority of successful transfers involved WooCommerce to Shopify, validating this as our highest-volume pathway.
  • We also saw strong movements from PrestaShop to Shopify, including a successful transfer of 45,500 entities for an international sock retailer, and robust transfers from Wix to Shopify, handling transfers for small business owners seeking a more robust e-commerce environment.

A notable achievement involved a comprehensive PrestaShop to Shopify project where the client required surgical precision in data filtering. For over 11,700 products, we successfully applied multiple rules simultaneously:

  • Migrating only active products.
  • Setting the product stock quantity to zero (0).
  • Applying a dynamic +21% markup to the product price upon transfer.

We also tackled complex data mapping requirements for a Magento migration where attributes needed precise mapping into Shopify metafields, demonstrating our capacity to handle structured and semi-structured product data.

Critical Platform and Infrastructure Updates:

  • Shopify Tax Liability Fix: A critical fix was deployed to correctly handle the channelLiable field on imported Shopify orders originating from marketplaces (like Etsy or Meta). This resolution ensures tax liability is correctly attributed to the marketplace rather than the merchant, preventing downstream accounting errors.
  • SEO Integrity and Image Handling: We resolved issues related to missing collection cover images during a Weebly migration due to non-standard image storage methods on the source platform. Similarly, we provided solutions for customers dealing with category hierarchy loss (OpenCart to Shopify) and for cleaning HTML tags embedded in ZenCart product titles.
  • Wizard Optimization: Frontend wizard logic was optimized to reduce unnecessary backend requests, bundling multiple option selections into single API calls to improve user experience and perceived speed.
