Another productive week has concluded at Cart2Cart, marked by a wave of successful migrations and significant enhancements to our platform. Our team diligently handled a diverse array of client requests, from intricate data mapping to resolving connectivity challenges, ensuring seamless transitions for online stores. This recap highlights our key achievements and the continuous efforts to refine our services.
Migration Milestones: Powering E-commerce Growth
This week, we proudly completed 28 migrations, transferring an impressive total of approximately 201,500 data entities across various platforms. Our expertise shone through in handling both standard and highly customized projects, reaffirming our commitment to client success.
- One notable achievement was a substantial OpenCart to Shopify migration, successfully moving over 35,500 entities for a client specializing in exclusive collections.
- We also facilitated a large WooCommerce to Shopify transfer, involving approximately 25,500 data entries, demonstrating our capacity for high-volume data handling.
- A complex BigCommerce to Shopify migration, previously stuck in a demo phase, saw successful progress with approximately 3,900 entities transferred after addressing specific customization requirements.
- Several clients benefited from our Wix to Shopify services, including a significant project that migrated over 11,400 data entities, showcasing our proficiency across different source platforms.
Our team expertly navigated requests ranging from preserving original order IDs during a dual-source OpenCart to Shopify migration to ensuring accurate price transfers, including VAT, in PrestaShop to Shopify transitions. Vasyl Dombrovskyi and Yevhenii Fedotov were particularly instrumental in resolving multiple custom mapping and data transformation tasks, ensuring precise data integrity for our clients.
Innovations and Technical Advancements
Beyond client migrations, the Cart2Cart development team has been hard at work implementing crucial updates and features to enhance our service offerings and streamline internal operations. This week brought several key resolutions that promise improved efficiency and reliability.
Remote Files Management & Performance
- Significant progress was made in refining our Remote Files management system, with tasks completed to organize configurations, optimize resource posting, and streamline GET/POST mappings. This ensures more robust and efficient handling of client files.
- Improvements were also rolled out for WIX image migration, addressing previous challenges where product images were not migrating correctly, and a fix for Shopify Feed on WIX where products were not migrating at all. This directly impacts the success rate of Wix to WooCommerce and Wix to Shopify migrations.
Platform Stability & Future Readiness
- To bolster our Shopify preview capabilities, a project was completed to prepare 100 new Shopify preview stores for April 2026, ensuring we have ample resources for future client demos and testing.
- The Advanced Estimator was successfully released to the public, providing clients with more transparent and accurate pricing estimations for their migration projects.
- Our internal journal now features a test data filter, improving our ability to analyze performance and manage test accounts efficiently.
These developments, spearheaded by Vasyl Kokhan and the broader dev team, underscore our dedication to continuous improvement, not only in delivering flawless migrations but also in enhancing the tools and infrastructure that support our services. We look forward to another week of empowering businesses with seamless e-commerce transitions!
