The first step is registering an account, which usually doesn’t take more than a few minutes. You don’t need to do that if you have a Google or Facebook account – you can sign in from them. Use Migration Estimator to calculate how much your migration will cost.
Click Start Migration Now. At this moment both your shops must be installed and available online.
1. Select Source Cart
In the drop-down menu select Magento. Enter your Magento store URL. Then download Connection Bridge, which you will need to unpack and upload to your Magento store root directory. For more details on Connection Bridges, see the FAQ.
2. Select Target Cart
Select the version of your CS-Cart, enter the URL of your CS-Cart store and download Connection Bridge.
3. Select Entities for Migration
Check the entities that you would like to migrate from Magento to CS-Cart or select them all. Check the additional options if you want some or all of them to apply to your migration.
4. Configure Multiple Stores
This option is included to avoid confusion and data loss as both platforms support multi-store management. If you work with several Magento stores, make sure that all of them are properly matched to your CS-Cart stores.
5. Map Currencies
The currencies on your Magento store need to be assigned to the currencies on your CS-Cart store.
6. Map Order Statuses
Match the order statuses on your Magento store to the order statuses on your CS-Cart store.
7. Start Demo Migration
The service will transfer a part of your information for free to show you how it works. It is strongly recommended not to skip this stage. Demo Migration usually lasts several minutes.
When Demo Migration is done, check its results on your CS-Cart store and make sure that your information has been transferred carefully and accurately.
8. Start Full Migration
